Synopsis:

Denkai lives among his people in the waters surrounding the island of Aurorice. He doesn't much question the ways of the Sea until a chance meeting with a boy named Yuki rouses his admiration for the land and humans. But the leader of his kind, Loki, won't stand for such traitorous ideas and condemns Denkai's association with the hume child.
Meanwhile, a mad scientist is spinning his evil plans for achieving godhood, monster sightings are painting the news red on shore and a strange, cloaked man seems to always be hanging around wherever there is trouble. All around, a dark energy begins closing in on both sea and land and the harmony that once stood between the two soon comes under jeopardy.
Will Denkai have to cast aside his dreams to protect the worlds around him? And will he be able to protect them both? And if he can, will the price be too high for him to pay?

It's been thirty years now. Thirty years since the hundred-year rule of the wicked witch Elda ended. And peace has returned to The Land, her cruelty being all but a lingering memory. Those memories, legends speak of her evil and her power. Yet not a one tell of how it all ended. In all accounts, she simply vanished.
But this cannot be so. For one so horrible and god-like cannot simply disappear.
Ikkoris, a young boy from an IroKai tribe, is obsessed with stories of her. Though, his curiosity and mischief are but the pain of the village. Until one day he finds a mysterious young girl in the mists known only as White Wolf. And she seems to know something of Elda.
Along with his new friend, Ikkoris sets off to find the past. But with a strange white knight out to resurrect Elda and these two trouble, and the village people wishing to silence him, a journey of intrigue soon turns into a battle to keep the evil and good at balance in the world around them. Although he wonders about his past he still daren't reach for it, for he fears the dark energy within him will take over should he do so.
But when one night the Black Dragon of Apocalypse, Arkanos, awakens and a gypsy witch prophesies that the answers to Yuih's identity as well as stopping the Dragon lie in his forgotten past, there's not much left to do but to set off in search of the truth. But the Darkness never sleeps, and soon he'll find everyone dear to him at stake.
